Partial Anphib floats for a Piper Cub type

Anyone ever seen any creative designs that would work on a 65HP Cub type homebuilt. I have seen some dolly implementations, and I have witnessed planes being launched from trailers pulled by a car or pickup truck...but I was wondering if anyone has come across a partial anphib solution. Something like removable wheels that could be taken off when someone lands at a strip that has ramp access to water. The issue is getting the plane up to float country, then back to the home base...which is on terra firma. My buddy has straight floats for his Piper Cub, has a cottage up North, but is based at an uncontrolled airport with paved runways.

Anyone come across something that would convert straight to partially amphibious? I expect the answer is go quality or go home...but it never hurts to ask.
