Hi John,
Turns out the battery was not my problem! My Carbs need to be cleaned and overhauled. Both of my carbs were getting to much fuel, when you remove the carb bowls fuel would run over the rim. I also found that the fuel/air mixture needle valve had a bad O-Ring, and that the other one was very dirty. I think when it is cold out, the needle valve in the float chamber must be sticking causing fuel to keep flowing into the float chamber flooding the engine and causing fuel to flow out of the overflow vent. I also found that both carbs had a carmel looking color which indicates to me a dirty carbs. I checked all my spark plugs, and found that the four plugs on my left side of engine were fine, but the four on my right side were fouled black, this is what was causing my engine to fire on only two cylinders. I have pulled both carbs and will prepare to ship to Lockwood for service. Any ideas before I spend MUCHO $$$$$$$$.

ure. Do it yourself. It comes apart and goes together with
simple tools, and can be cleaned with new carb cleaner, compressed
air, pipe cleaners, toothpicks, and care. Rebuild kits are readily available.
