Has anyone on the list fabricated the 601 XL control column from pipe stock?
I am looking at drawing 6B17-2.
There doesn't appear to be enough information on the pipe cutting angles to
make the canted forward Y shaped dual control grip.
I am trying to work out the cutting angle settings for my compound miter
saw.

Ian,
The cuts on round tubing intersections are rarely straight. For fabrications like that I normally make a wooden fixture and grind in the intersections, one intersection at a time. Takes longer but the results are very good.
