Hey all,
This project comes with a running160hp, not mounted. I'm not sure it makes
sense to hang that much extra wt. to the front of a 60 yr. old frame. Think
beer belly!
Also has custom made aluminum spring gear and axles.Do they bounce also?
Even has been line bored for brake lines.
I have to replace spars, build cowl and whatever it takes to keep it 51% and
well under 1320lbs. so I can fly with a sport pilot lic.
I'm going to have to take a 16hr. course to annual my own hand built Kolb
anyway. Don't figure, if I had gone EAB I wouldn't.
Probably a better project for Ellery but he's a little touchy about
Kolbs. Kinda like John H.
Nothing derogatory meant of course.
