This, for those who haven't installed a $luxury$ accessory to give
some indication of battery condition, is a possible simple addition.
We put this together for the radio club cars, but it might easily be
adapted to the Europa. It gives the voltage (and thus the state of
alternator support) every 0.5 volt. Over 14 volts is one led, five more give
a range of 11.5 to 14, and oneannounces below 11.5. A piezo chime beeps
below 12 to 11.5 and steady below that
It's Aussie, from www.futurlec.com and costs about CA$14*, US$9 or
5quid, and takes about one hour to solder 21 bits together onto a 2x2inch PC
board.
