I had some concerns about prolonged ground  operations when I first ran my engine so I called Bart at Aerosport. He told me  that they had run the engine fairly hard on their test stand so I didn't need to  worry a lot about ground operations, but I just needed to keep a close watch on  the engine temperatures and not let it heat up. That's what I did and so far,  crossing my fingers, I've not seen any ill affects to the engine.
