I have my trailer setup so I can get my MK III in and out easily. I ran the plane around the yard yesterday. The 503 seems to run well. It started right up and ran good on the taxing around the yard.



I want to do a few things to it before I take it to my instructor/ test pilot.



I want to change the fuel filter and rebuild the fuel pump and change the spark plugs. 



I also want to buy some new AN hardware for some of the things like the wing attachment pins.

Are these the right type of  pins for the wing pins? I don't want to get the wrong ones and have one break!! That would be deadly:(

Put a Stratomaster E1  engine monitor instrument on your X-mass wish list $199



I just put one in my Ultrastar to save panel real estate and it does

CHT, EGT, RPM, Hobbs and FUEL level....plus Alarms on all these things and a dummy alarm light/flashing display item to direct your attention to any problem.



It is completely configurable for sensors, limits, alarms etc etc.



It will do more (multiple CHT's, EGT's, oil presure, Oil Temp, Water temps etc) but that is all I need for now.....these things are fantastic and cost LESS than all the instruments is replaces!  Plus its just one 3.5" standard instrument hole used.



The Fuel level sender is hooked up to the Oil-Presure lead....my own modification and works great plus I have a low fuel alarm setting as a bonus.



I'm delighted by what this thing does.

 Another good sourse of AN hardware is WagAero in Lyons Wisconson shipping is usually the same day if you order before 10:00 am C.D.T DoNot use C.P.S.

I have found Aircraft Spruce and LEAF "Leading Edge AirFoils" to have better 

service and prices.

 The people at C.P.S are ARROGANT and RUDE and don't care about there costumers. Mike should worry about his costumers more than profits. I will never buy from them again.Buy From L.E.A.F. (Leading Edge Airfoils) They care about there costumers.
