Hi, I have finished the Esqual and currently have the stock throttle set up fitted.
That is elongated arm on the bing and a two lever set up that puts a lever on the left and right of the pilots seat with a tube beneath the seat pan that joins them up.
No amount of fettling seems to make its action acceptable for control.
I notice on the pictures most of you have fitted the plunger type throttle on Esquals and lightnings.
Is this just connected to an elongated arm on the bing carby as the Esqual original design?
Is a verier needed or is a standard ACS A800 friction type OK?
Some have dual throttles, do these connect to a drive rod? And then a single drive to the carb?
Are there any other installations that are used and recommended?
Is a vernier throttle OK to use for fine control?
Do all vernier throttles have the release buttons?
Thanks, Clive [quote][b]
