Larry,
You are absolutely right! A few degrees of down flap would make the nose go down. I was going by what the former owner told me that he was doing. At least by having min drag by not using the flaps and using the bungee trim instead, I have gained a few mph in cruise.(also my flap lever lies straight on the floor and is hard to get to for my short arms) Oh well, thanks for pointing that out.
You guys have a Merry Christmas! I am down in the Pensacola, Fl. area and all this talk about skis and snow reminds me of when I used to live in Colorado. This place sucks in the summer but is nice this time of year. I can fly pretty much every day.
