Pedro,

What is your performance numbers now and empty weight ?

Full lotus will work but not as aerodynamic as others.

Is that on wheels ? If so -- your float operations will be marginal at best.

Hi Pedro,
I have Full Lotus amphibs on my model 3 (empty weight 440 lbs). When sitting on the amphib gear the front spreader bar bends about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in the center (Skystar supplied rigging). This would probably not be a problem if EVERY wheel landing was perfect. I am not even close to being that good of a pilot. I only use the wheels to move the Kitfox around the ramp, and remove them once I get into the water. My cruise is about the same as yours, about 70 mph.
We've had plenty of cold, but just got enough snow. Looking forward to ski flying, the best there is.

Pedro ,

the point i was making was the performance you have with your vernier engine on wheels might not be good enough to support your plane on floats.

The amphib gear I got from Full Lotus is conventional gear, that is taildragger. I use the mounting points for the tail wheels to mount the water rudders.
