Some of you may not have seen this yet. I was introduced to it yesterday.

Use the text messaging on you cell phone and put 466453 in the too line (that equates to "Google"). Now scroll down to the message portion and type in Metar KFFC or your 4 letter identifier. Be sure there is a space between Metar and the four letter identifier for your airport.

In a few moments you will receive a text message with the metar for than airport. (provided NOAA publishes a Metar for that airport)
