Dear Dan,
I had the opportunity to meet and spent a day with Todd while flying my 500S. That is the short coming of communicating like this on the internet. The mood and tone can be sorely misinterpreted. All of the things Todd pointed out, I have observed and therefore never utilized the site he was referring to. I found him to be a very forthright person and not negative at all. He wasn’t ripping the “list” as you say. He was disappointed in the lack of content of the Twin Commander web site.

I didn't see Todd's letter and it wasn't included in your response, Dan.
Not knowing specifically what Todd was referring to except that it had something to do with the website, I should perhaps comment on the state of the site, in addition to what has already been said.
It was a dark and stormy night...
No wait, That's not it.
We all volunteer to make it work. Positive criticism is always appreciated. Time and patience are needed for all to enjoy it.

Dear Todd,
Please excuse me if I missed something but it sounds to me like you could use a Dale Carnegie course. You state that you are "rather new to this list", then immediately start ripping it for all of its observed faults. If I were new to something and thought it needed improvement I think I would politely volunteer my services and proceed to quietly improve it rather than insulting everyone involved.
By the way most folks on this list sign off with their name and maybe their airplane number: evidently you are real important where you work, but here we a are just Commander enthusiast.
