Hi Bill:
I am a member of the Silver Wings Ultralight Flying Club based
just over the state line in Palmer, Ma.
We have our own private 900' airstrip adjacent to the now closed Palmer
(Metro) Airport: PMX. Many of our members are from northern CT. Contact
me for details if you are interested. We do not have a 2-place Kolb based
here but the club does own a 2-place MX Sprint II.

Ed Harvey
Firefly 038
Monson, MA.

Hey Ed, I looked PMX up on Airnav... the runway is listed as "asphalt, in
poor condition, with alligator cracks". Now just what is an "alligator
crack"? A crack that bites or eats airplanes? Smile

Are you actually flying from PMX or from a nearby field? Are visitors
welcome (fly in or drive in)? How 'bout PPG's?

When Columbus came to America, there were no taxes, no debts, and no
pollution. The women did all the work while the men hunted or fished all
day. Ever since then, a bunch of idiotic do-gooders have been trying to
"improve" the place.
