Bob & All
you're right again ? but it's also nice to respond to the factory's
second thoughts.
When the original Classic was designed there was enormous pressure to
get the design finished and start selling kits. Starting a business from
scratch is far from easy. Starting an aircraft business from scratch is
much harder than that. Not many folks are capable of doing it, we were
lucky we had Ivan to do it for us, (imho {{
btw He now has his prototype Liberty on the PFA, (correction, it's LAA
as of yesterday) we might start to see him at DOTHs if I can twist his
arm to come and talk to us. It's taken a year to pursuade the FAA to
write it off their N reg list. Control freaks these regulators imho. For
once CAA were much more responsive to reason, (or maybe it was
determined ear bending.)

Dear Alfred Buess
Thank you for your reply too!
I found my original job on the wing pins to be good; but as you say it
was reassuring to have another look at previous work.
Best Wishes
