Assuming you are keeping them somewhere that they aren't going to be getting wet. You really don't need to do anything. My wings have been happily sitting in my hanger for a couple of years and before that the spent some time in a storage building.

One thing I would suggest though is to seal up any openings so nothing moves in.

Bill,
I hung my parts in the garage ceiling and periodically wiped dust off
them. If you keep them dry, nothing will change the surface appearance,
save nylon belts or support
materials that have colored dye in them. My rudder had a stripe from
black nylon on it, but it was removed with a light rubbed scotch brite.
Clean, etch and rinse only prior to prime and paint. I'd not prime or
paint until needed.

Just my 2 cents but I have my rudder finished and wrapped in stretch wrap to keep dust and bugs out off & out of it.

Hi John;

be careful that water (condensate?) does not get between the shrink wrap and the structure as it can mar the surface with a very fine corrosion and the steel rivet mandrel stubs may rust.
