Locktite make a weld porosity sealer that does a nice job of it. I suppose it works by capillary action and is drawn down into any porosities in the weld. I used it on a couple of paint mixing tanks I built for a customer way back when. Last time I checked they were still leak free. Sorry, I don't remember Locktite's number for it, I just remember it's green.
