Final Update guys. As of today it looks like the weather is going to cooperate. If anything changes I’ll make the call on Tuesday evening so check your email before departing for AYS.
This going to be a busy event - we have 54 aircraft registered. Here’s the current schedule:
Thursday:
Morning – Media rides and practice for those who arrive early.
1300 - FAST ground school for those who need it. If you’re running slightly late call and let me know.
Afternoon – Practice flights for those not attending the ground school. Initial newbie flights if possible.
1830 – Dinner, TBA (Mexican or Italian?)
Friday:
0830 – Admin and Safety Briefing in the FBO LOBBY.
Morning – FAST newbie training, practice/recc/check flights for those not involved in newbie training. ACRO Box OPEN.
1200 – Lunch – Sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc in the FBO kitchen – GRAB N GO in between flights.
Afternoon – Air Show practice, FAST flights, newbie training. ACRO Box OPEN.
1830 – Oyster Roast on the Field – Beer, oysters, chili, more beer and hamburgers for those who can’t shuck oysters.
Saturday:
0830 – Admin and Safety Briefing in the FBO LOBBY.
Morning – Practice and Training flights. ACRO Box OPEN.
1200 – Lunch – Sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc in the FBO kitchen – GRAB N GO in between flights.
1230 – TACTICAL EVENT BREIFING for those interested. Pappy and Drew have designed the mission so I’ll let them elaborate.
1330 – TACTICAL EVENT LAUNCH. Training flights for those not flying the event.
1830 – BBQ banquet (same location as oyster roast) with General “Boots” Blesse as the guest speaker.
Sunday:
0900 – Finish up any check rides.
1200 Endex/Departures
The EVENT FEE is $125/per PERSON. Please pay by check made out to the RPA.
[b]This includes lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, Transportation and the event T-Shirt. Extra T-shirts are available (at) $25/each. If [/b]we run out I’ll have more made and send them to the RPA Store.
