To anyone interested in this CJ:

I have about 20 hours of flight time in this aircraft (just flew it this past week for a missing man formation flight). It is a good solid, strong running CJ. I will be flying it up to Waycross later this month. If you know anyone who is interested in a CJ, they should take a look at this airplane.

I would buy it, but I have a CJ in the final stages of restoration. Steve was kind enough to allow me to fly his plane while mine is in restoration.

Any questions, contact me off-list or come to Waycross to see this plane in person.

Regards,

Craig Winkelmann

There is some one interested in Canada but they are trying to figure out the
export import process to get the plane registered there.

I am still negociating with my TC inspector...what a jerk!

Does your AFM/POH and the other manuals have an FAA stamp or any FAA
mention that it is an official FAA document?

TC is a lot more picky than the FAA when it's about restricted AC and I
want to make sure that I will be able to import.

Thanks for any help

Get a hold of victoria air maintenance. colin can help you negotiate the land mines. i've imported several planes, although not cjs to Canada it isn't that hard.

Let the fella thinking about it to consider a couple of things.

we cannot get hull insurance on our ships here. So for instance, If I were to do it again, I would have bought yours and owned it through a us corp and kept it us registered. then i coulda got insurance.

i did buy a cdn registered bird... so now I would have to do the reverse and its not worth it.

Victoria Air maintenance should be able to do your import very easily and quickly

Mike
