You can find all the info you could ever want in the Tony Bingelis books (no homebuilder should be without the whole set). An excerpt is available in the "Homebuilders Headquarters" section of the EAA website. Go to Member login, then "Building", then "Homebuilders HQ", then "Building - Articles", then "Landing Gear, Wheels & Brakes". There are several interesting articles listed, with the last one "Your Brake Installation", telling you how to bleed the brakes. You can try this link: http://members.eaa.org/home/homebuilders/building/landing/Your%20Brake%20Installation.html#TopOfPage
Most of the question you will come up against during the building of an airplane are covered in Tony's 4 books: The Sportplane Builder, Sportplane Construction Techniques, Firewall Forward and Tony Bingelis on Engines. Tony built all the early Vans kits (RV-3, RV-4 and RV-6, and he may have built an RV- in addition to a number of other airplanes. His books are essential if you are building a plane from scratch, and very helpful even when building such a nice kit as an RV-10.
