Wayne,
I feel your pain. I only got to fly other
people's planes and never owned one of my own. When
my life is less hectic, then I plan to do a
Lightning video. I never got a chance to make the
live action video that I had planned, but instead, I
think now I will make a video more of a photo slide
show. I've got plenty of photos, and I've got the
music that I wanted to put on the other video, now I
just need the time. Brian W.

Photos cam through fine thanks Brian. I can start
wall-papering my office wall now!
In regards the newsletter – I’m hanging out for
photos/videos of finished Lightnings being used –
for local fun or for cross-country touring. Perhaps
some in-flight video shot from the cockpit while
over something worth seeing. My build will probably
take 12 months after the kit arrives in Australia –
so such photos/videos of completed aircraft doing
their thing would really help me through the build!

Regards
Wayne

that right. Just wanted to check and see if you got
your 3 photos that I sent via email. Nothingbounced
back so I assume it worked, or I overloaded your
email account and you can't log back in. Brian W.

Perth is 8 hours ahead of GMT. Getting our heads
around USA time is harder – the shortest distance
and timeframe crosses the date line. It is 8.40pm
Thursday here at the moment.

I look forward to receiving the photos!

Regards & thanks

Wayne

Wayne, I've got a couple, let me find them and
I'll send you an email to your personal addy. I
might be the only one up in the U.S. on the board at
this hour. 3a.m. here. What is your conversion to
zulu there? Brian W.

Hi Tom & Al

Would it be possible for you to email me a higher
quality photo of your aircraft in flight (Arion
Intro Page) and taxying. I have just ordered my kit
and I’d like to print larger copies to pin up on my
office wall to keep me going!

Regards & thanks

Lightning Weight and Balance

In the past there have been requests for weight and
balance data for the Lightning. Keep in mind that
this is anexperimental and therefore your aircraft
will depend on what you put into it. I typed up a
weight and balance from thedemonstrator. I know
that this will get out of order when I put it in an
email, but if you want the info it shouldn't be too
hard tofigure out how to get it spaced back out
right. It should give you an idea of how much you
can carry and where you can carry itBrian W.Aircraft

Charles,
As of two weeks ago I am signed off to take my CFI checkride. As of about 1 week ago and 6 days I am unfortunately temporarily grounded due to being very sick. I am hoping to get the results of some tests back and then have a few more to go through, but if it is as they think it'll pretty much keep me grounded for another month or two while I get over this. After that I fully intend to go up for my checkride and be certified in the short term. Then plan on CFII by early next year if I can make the time and money. My reference of flying other peoples planes was in reference specifically to the Lightning aircraft and not owning one of my own. Brian W.
