Brian, get well soon.



Wayne, Buz, Earl, and everyone else interested sending pictures,



Yesterday a friend sent a web site that supposedly allows you to send large files (pictures etc) easily.  I sent him 33 pictures of about 3 megs each.  The total file was about 98 megs in size.  It went out really quick.  I do not know if he got the pictures yet, nor do I know what the quality will be when they arrive.  He claims to use it all the time.  As a pilot we will really appreciate the cost, FREE (so far).  You can sign up for larger groupings for a fee.  I also do not know the number of times that the files can be down loaded or anything.  Lets try it.  I am not the greatest computer person in the world and I use a Mac, so there might be probs.

I put several pics of various sizes and qualities into the yousendit.  Some I got from this site, others I took, and some are pics that were sent to me by others.  I had to put a "to" address on it so I used Buz's.  Here is the site to go to and see if it worked.

     I seem to have downloaded the picture files, but  can not open them.  It says something like "can not open because they are  computed" or I don't have the proper program to read them.  Any  suggestions?

I will try another way.  They are all JPG files that I have stored in my iPhoto album on the computer.

     Actually Linda Mathias, Lightning N59JL, is not  only a CFI but also an FAA flight examiner.  She lives near me in the  southeast part of Virginia.  I am in Williamsburg and she and Joe keep 59JL  in Wakefield (KAKQ), VA.  We are about 2&1/2 hours drive from DC.

Charles, I didn't even think of that, but Linda owns a Lightning with probably the fanciest panel out there.  She would be a really good one to give you transition training I think.  Your insurance would probably love that she is an FAA designated examiner as well!  Brian W.
