Anyone hearing this transmission...
The first annual Okeechobee Formation Fly-In located on the north side of the Okeechobbee lake in central Florida is March 7-8-9 and has some 16 folks on the roster - we may be losing one of our IPs, so if any CPs or IPs want to help establish this new event, it's in sunny Florida, we can arrange pick up from major airline serviced domiciles such as KPBI/KMIA/KMCO/KTPA.
As well as anyone of any level of proficiency that wants to spend the weekend in Florida having some fun - more aviators the better. Register online at www.flyredstar.org under "Fly-Ins"
The airfield has a restrnt so no scrambling for lunch, cheapest gas they say in FL - The hotel is a cut above and inexpensive - located right on the Okeechobee lake with beer served on the deck after flying, they have a pool table equipped bar (comes equipped with one white and one red ball for the RPAers).
