Anyone know of a battery box that is similar to the battery box on a Tiger/Cheetah but is bigger to fit a size 35 battery?Supercharge your AIM. Get the AIM toolbar for your browser.

Made out of what? Would you settle for aluminum or stainless steel?

Why not save weight and go to this FAA/PMA battery (for a Piper)?
http://www.odysseybatteries.com/applications/aircraft.htm
Comes with a FAA approved (for a Piper) hold down....

Sealed batteries, no mess, lighter weight... have already been through the FAA stuff....:^)

Preferably made of aluminum. I have no experience with battery boxes for anything but the Grummans. I have seen John Coze's battery box but I don't recall what it looked like. I don't know what it came out of. I have seen a battery box in a Comanche, but again, I don't remember what it looked like.

All I could see was pictures of batteries. Any pictures of the battery boxes?

The Oddessey is a good battery but the one you show does not have nearly the amp/hr capacity of a 35 series battery, which is what he is looking at.

Here are a couple from the Sabertooth STC. Not very good I'll try and take some and send you later. It's a very common Cherokee box.

What's the 35 series battery for? And where do you want to mount it? I could take a photo of the box used on my Bonanza which mounts to the firewall. Maybe you could find one at a salvage yard. The Bonanza box has a small air duct for supplying positive cool air flow through the box.

What's it for? If I told you, I'd have to . . . . . .
