As many of you know, I recently had a injury to my right hand that has temporarily stopped progress on "Lil Bruiser". This forum is hardly an appropriate place to discuss medical problems, but since I am so near completion, with the passage of time and no first flight, some might wonder if I had become a slacker, or just gave up. I wanted to assure you that is not the case.
Since I started this airplane, I have been "off line" for two cataract surgeries, a detached retina, diverticulitis, a prostate biopsy, and who knows how many cuts and bruises. Those and the current "inconvenience" are just that, and certainly not "show stoppers". Sure, it will probably delay that first flight a month or so, but happen it will! And you can bet the rent money on it.
