Listers:
I am completing plans for my instrument panel and am wondering if
eyeball air vents are recommended in addition to the air vent that
comes as a part of the window in the door.
Comments from those flying their 701's would be very much appreciated.

I dunno Stan. For me...the door vents are plenty. I would think hard about giving up that valuable real estate on the panel. My 701 is not that air tight anyhow thus I get plenty of fresh air. That's just my two cents...

Hello Stan,
Here we have some heat in the summer, mainly when we fly to the coast... but once you are a few 1,000s ft up the temperature outside always get a little cooler, this is all over the world. When taxi, I open de door, once flying the little round vents can provide enough air I need to feel confortable, summer or winter (yes, we need a little opening in winter).
No need for extra vents (weight). every weight saved in construction will later convert to gasoline, a little luggage or some snacks...
