If Rotax changes design to a gearbox before it can be installed do they charge for the upgrade(E Box split cone etc...)

Hi Dave,
Unfortunately Rotax looks at each case separately. If it is a safety issue then probably yes. If it is just a change then it might or might not be. You will need to call a Rotax distributor on your specific issue. Sorry, probably not the answer you were looking for. Hopefully a nice distributor will do it for you. Never hurts to ask.
