I said I would report back on the problem I had with fuel spilling out of the carb inlets on my 912. Well here it is. I had replaced the old float needles with new ones I had purchased because of the time on rubber parts. (needle tips) The old ones had been on the engine for over 12 years but appeared to be in good shape. Well,I decided to put my old ones back in and that cured the problem ! No more leaks. The small internal spring on the new needles are much stronger then on the old ones so I guess that caused the problem. One of the members suggested that and he was right. Thanks !!
