Kitfoxers, A couple of days ago someone ran a post with a picture of a red towbar. I can't locate that picture. I now understand how the bar hooks to the rear of the plane to tow on the planes wheels. Someone else ran a dimensioned drawing of the bar. I have scanned the post archieves and my own deleted messages and can't find those 2 posts. I want to build that tow bar. Can anybody direct me to htose 2 posts. Thanks

Is the tow bar the same for a 2,3,4 ? if a set of plans is available (or even some good pictures) for a mod4 I would also be interested.

After sending my last post I continued to read my email and found this so I am reposting it for those that missed it

Pat,

Straight from my old archives, dating back to when I built a Kitfox (long since gone!) some 14 years ago. It's the original factory drawing from the Denney and/or SkyStar era, and the dimensions refer to the model 4 series, probalby identical to mod.2 and 3 also.

The drawing might still be available on the Sportflight site but as I mentioned in another posting a couple of days ago some items that had been stored there for ages seem to have vanished these days.

Enjoy!

Regards,

Johannes

Here's some good pictures of a tow bar. Measure your plane and weld one up. http://www.sportflight.com/cgi-bin/uploader.pl?action=view&epoch=1139351404
