In response to the  information about available .dwg files I though some may be interested in the  following information.

  

 Solid Edge 2D  Drafting is a FREE program that is given away and allows you to become a  registered owner of a great drafting program.  It will read, write, and  edit .dwg files just like AutoCAD does.  Comes with a great library of over  a 1000 preformed objects that you can insert into your drawings as  well.

 About the middle of  the page you will see "Solid Edge 2D Drafting", that is what you want to  get.
