I have a general question concerning fuel for the Rotax 912UL engine? I know that the engine is set up to burn 87 or 91 unleaded Mogas, and it runs well on those fuels. My question is can you burn the standard fuel that is used to test/compare and determine the octane rating of gasoline? This fuel is commonly called Iso-octane. It is 100 octane. Technically, the product is 2,2,4 Trimethyl Pentane. Input would be appreciated.
