Larry- you can also use a brake cylinder hone, cut the drive, and extend it with a stiff piece of hose and a couple of clamps. use a drill to run it. It is the cheap way out. Sand paper in a split wooden dowel also works.

Hi,
I am in the process of installing new steel gear legs, and I am running
into problems getting the legs far enough into the sockets. Does anyone have
a source for a die grinder that is long enough to get up inside the socket
far enough to clean the burrs out? I'm out of ideas and local sources. I am
only able to get them about 8 1/2 inches now.
...........

Larry,

I had the same problem when building the FireFly. I looked into reamers but
could not afford one, I used a long coarse round file followed by a
semi-round file. The curvature of the semi-round file should be just the
same or a little less that the tube ID. With the Cage jacked up in its
normal position, I sat on the floor and with the round file, I could feel
where the weld through was. I would file away a little on each side of it
and then follow with the semi-round file to reduce the height. Then I would
slip in the aluminum leg to see how far it would go. If you rotate the leg
back and forth a few degrees it will leave a mark. It was slow going, but
in one afternoon, I had the legs in.
