As I sit here banging on this keyboard on the Lanai, the sound of a tropical downpour overwhelms me to the point of needing more ice for my glass of cheap port (hey, I fly a CJ).

This is the DRY season, Sun 'n Fun starts in a week and now our weather soothsayers see a week of June-like tropical downpours during Happy Hour.

What this means to the inbound attendee is to expect soft tiedowns, gusty winds, high grass, possible continued afternoon rains, and plenty of bugs that bite.
