Gang:

The drawings (6B22) for the 601XL show the holes in the fairleads to be drilled with a #20 drill, or .161 inches. All the installed fairleads that came in my quickbuilt fuselage (from Zenair) are drilled *much* larger, ~15/32.

Anyone know of any reason for this? (Replacing most of them is not a big deal at this stage, but would be very difficult later.)

And should I drill the rest of the fairleads big to match or small per plans?

I asked Michael Heintz at QSP the same question about my QBK. He said it was so the cables could be passed through the fairleads with the eyes already swaged on to them.
