Hi all,

Anyone out there using mogas in theM14P? Is there an STC? With fuel here at 1.25+ per litre any saving will add to my flying hours Very Happy

A number of guys over here do use high test auto fuel in the M-14p often mixed with avgas 100LL.   I have on occasions used it with no problem in a pinch, but I do not make it a rule.  You must be careful about getting alcohol blends.

From 1994 till present (= 600 hrs) mogas 95 octane has been used in my Yak when operated from home airfield and below 28° C (quite rare in this country). So I guess 150 hrs were on avgas. TTengine is 810  and no problems.

Use it all the time mixed with about  half av gas. Tops of pistons and spark plugs are like new.
