George- What does your rear wing u-joint lug look like? How about the distance from the fromt mount to the rear? What year is it? I am still trying to approximate the year on mine.

Bill, I bought my KX at sun n fun in 91....hey, that rhymes....[img]http://cdn-cf.aol.com/se/smi/0201e05bf2/07[/img] ... from Homer himself, and got one of the first of the new KX models
It was so new that they did not even have the new design of the horiz stabilizer yet so I just built the existing original firestar design of the stab. ... which has the long pin and small clip. and is difficult to assemble...but not impossible in the least.
I would like to look at the rear wing u-joint but By George the firestar is up at Rich Swiderski's house 12 miles north of The Villages and I can't get to it right now because of health reasons.
