" Bonjour Byron,
We are looking with Lionel people that doesn't use anymore the russian or chinese original radios / intercom from there planes (the round 4 pins).
We want to use russian and chinese helmet with original plugs, so we need to plug them on an original cord with original plane plugs to the helmet and modified on the other side to "US" plugs.
Regards,
Jacques " MARGO 12 " Suire"
With the full knowledge that I would fail terribly in an attempt to make such a request in my school-boy French, let me try to put the above in coloquial English.
>From past e-mails, I know that Jacque and Lionel are former French military pilots who are in the agonizing process of importing a CJ into France. In the note above, they are in search of anybody here who no longer uses Chinese or Russian radios, but still may have the intercom cords with round, four pin connectors. So that they can use authentic Chinese or Russian helmets, they'll modify the cords by putting a US connector on one end.
Thanks for your help, Blitz

All,
I'll dig through my stuff here and see what I can find. I know I have some used leather helmets if they want them, and I may have a intercom, all at no charge if they want them. If anyone else is sending them anything maybe we could consolidate all the parts into one shipment.

For what its worth I found an original pair of Russian leather hats in new old stock
and had the leads changed to suit my Yak 52. Very stylish looking but after a couple of sorties
I went back to David Clarks in a leather pseudo period scull cap because the poor
sound attenuation in the original Russian ones made them intolerable to use.
