Jim L.,  and all other Kolb guys in Minnesota, 

   

    May I ask where you are located in Minnesota?  My oldest son is home from Afganistan on vacation, to sign papers to buy his new house he had built in Buffalo, MN.  (The other son got back from Iraq (permanently) a month ago, to Evergreen, Alabama.  Man, what a pretty state!)

   

    This oldest one will be around for two more weeks, then back to Afg-land.  I'm trying to talk him into buying a Kolb, since he recently said he may work on training to be a corporate pilot for a career, after he leaves Afg-land.

   

    Anyway, my oldest has mentioned in the past he may buy an "ultralight".  It would be nice if there were some Kolbs in the area he could go watch.

   

    Both of my kids were in the military, but they are/were civilian  contractors in Iraq/Afganistan.  The oldest has an interest in flying.  The youngest doesn't.  I don't like him as much.

The youngest needs some retraining.....if he doesn't like to fly then he needs to study aircraft construction, avionics or engine work.   



Ground crew is what best keeps the birds in the air.
