I lost the keys to my Kitfox so I checked Aircraft Spruce for prices on ignition switches. I was a little surprised to find that the cheapest switch was $80. Does that sound right or am I looking in the wrong place?

Mr. Wingnut,
Is this what your looking for? It's a "start" only, (momentary 'on') no mag switching function.
If it is, I'll let ya have it for say.......... nothing. I'll never use it. (famous last words eh?)
Still in sealed bag.
Just a thought here.... maybe the key(s) fit your existing switch, in which case you could then get a copy made and send the unit back.

Thanks Steve. I found a tractor ignition at tractor supply that worked perfectly. The whole thing with two keys costs less than getting a key made.

Hi Steve,
I just recently acquired a Kitfox model 2 that is not yet flying - and it had no keys with it .... would your ignition switch with keys still be available ?
