First Flight - C-FOGJ

Jan Volcic does not monitor the forum, but I'm pleased to announce
that he made a first flight
this morning in his mono.
The day has turned wet and windy, so Jan has a good excuse to sit
indoors and enjoy a few brews.

Kit # is A220
Empty weight 859 lbs
912S with Airmaster prop
field - Kitchener-Waterloo regional airport, CYKF

Now there are 4 Europas flying in Ontario, and I believe 4 underway
( Pete I trust your pile of parts is now under construction !)

Hi Karl,
Like Bob H., I am now a retired gentleman, or at least I am retired, so perhaps if the weather
does not co-operate for a fly in we could meet on a nice day mid week.

Pavel, in B.C. tells me that my Woodcomp is being shipped back by UPS today, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Dave,

I hope your propeller is okay now. Jiri from Woodcomp is finally speaking to me again. I only wanted some information
about motors, but he refused to answer any emails, fax, or secretary's messages. I finally had to write to the Czech Embassy
and their commercial attache made a phonecall which seems to have worked like magic.
