Guys,
I now have the replacements for the press in cowl attach brackets. Contact me off line. No ARS for me this year.

These are pressed-in hard rubber with a small brass tube center that the attach pin with a T-tip secures it to the U-shaped bracket on the firewall. Doug has the screw-in type, but they are slightly larger and meant for later models that have a threaded housing. Anyone had luck finding or making a workable substitute?
Thanks, Dave

I had the same problem. Still do, but I used a rubber hose cut very short. Sorry I can't remember the size. Its ID fit the brass tube center and OD went into the bracket. Not perfect and it will not last forever, but it got the job done.

Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.
