Need advice regarding slats: Drawing 7-S-2 specifies that the inboard slat fits inside the outboard slat. Also it specifies that a single notch is to be cut in the outboard Z of the outboard slat and that two notches are to be cut (one in each end) of the inboard Z slat. Given that both inboard and outboard slats are of equal dimensions and that the mating notch is in the inboard slat, how does it go inside the outboard slat? Thanks for any help.

Richard

In my case one of the slats was just lightly larger than the other and it fit one way better than the other. I checked with Roger in the factory and he said that it didn't matter which one went into the other. If you made them perfectly the same, a thin piece of scrap aluminum will help shoehorn them together.
