I needed some UHMW polyethylene rectangular bar (1/4" thick X 1-1/2"  

wide) for my nose gear stop.  I ordered it from McMaster-Carr and the  

minimum order was 5 feet which came to $7.40.  The shipping charge was  

$13.25 so the total order came to $20.65.



I used seven inches for my two nose gear stops and so I have a lot  

left over.  If you need some I can beat McMaster-Carr's price by a  

significant margin.   Probably about  $4 for 7 inches.
