Mike- Nice job on the tips! Next time consider my fool-proof painting method. "Dip it and drip it". Won't rust, and looks good at 1000 yards. Saves a lot of time and aggravation.
Hope you save the molds, just in case.

Hey Bill,

I should have done the dip it method. There was a time when I thought there was NO solution to getting them to look half-a.. decent. I'm just glad I finally got beyond them!!

I did plan on saving the molds, but since they were curved and created such a "horn shape", I had to dig the mold out with a claw hammer. If I had made them as a two piece, then they would have separated easily, but, alas.....

Tomorrow I start on the aileron's portion of the droop tip. This ought to be interesting.
