<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> We see a deer now and then but turtles are our problem. I was with a friend in his Challenger when we hit a turtle and bent the noise wheel. They are not like deer and see them do to their size but tend to blend into the grass and not seen until touch down. Ooop's
We spent the rest of the week end walking the runway marking turtles with a bright orange marking paint.

RossSorry you had damage from a turtle -- but what do you think the turtle felt about all this?
"There I was, Honey, racing across the runway, and this big noisy thing came along and ---"
BTW I doubt turtle-whistles would work.
PS They do taste good but IMHO not worth the effort to clean
do not archive
