HI to all on the list ,I am building Kit fox model 4 1200 converted to tricycle undercarriage
I have been advised not to use the GSC wooden prop due to several cases of blade shedding.
Has anyone fitted the inflight adj Ivoprop and have there been any technical problems with the
Adjusting mechanism.

Checked by AVG.

Tony,
I have a 72" IVO inflight adjust on my Kitfox. Just yesterday I had a wire come
loose from the brush connection at the prop. The prop was configured for cruise
when it stopped working so my only concern on landing was the performance I would be
dealing with in a go around situation. It was a simple fix and now I have a little
sealer in there to help hold in place. Some people have reported issues with the
brushes themselves.
The other problem is setting up for max rpms on takeoff. It seems to take many
small adjustments throughout the takeoff run. Maybe it's just me or the fact I have
a 914 turbo engine. My choice would be a ground adjustable for a 912 or 912s just
for simplicity.
Overall it seems to be a very good performer and a great price.

What engine are you using for your 1200 ?

GSC a decent prop but on the 912s a IVO works a bit better.
On a 582 you won't seem much difference.
By the way and prop will fly apart, I have seen WARP, GSC and IVOs come apart.
