Good luck, Jack. I hope it works. I know the cable will "spring" a bit, and the connectors would fail first in an extreme load. I am very interested in the ground handling characteristics. At the field where I have been doing taxi runs, the field hasn't been rolled yet. It's kind of like running on cobblestones. I was also thinking of your "pre-load" alignment method, and what the cables will do under a load. Very interesting project- let us know how it handles.
