Hi there, 



I´m planning to build a 701, I´ve seen the R-2100 Turbo, 80 HP engine as a good alternative, and they´ ve recommended a 62´´ diameter propeller. Would it be ok such an engine/prop combination?

I've heard that a 701 with a Jab 2200 is a little weak on take off and climb. I don't know what an R-2100 is, but since it is spec ed at 80-hp and a 62" prop I guess it is direct drive, so pretty much a 2200 Jab.



 Just my $.01 ( not worth the full $.02     ) The prop speed and chord figure in too...so now the value of my post is down to $.05
