Some time ago it was said to twist the carb a few degrees to get your egt's from one side to the other. Anyone remember the saying. Tilt to the lean side, or the other? Tex

Tex,
I seem to remember that you "turn the bottom of the carb towards the lean side". So if the right side (1,3,5) are the leanest, turn the carb counter clockwise. If the left side (2,4,6) is leanest turn the carb clockwise. Hope I am remembering that correctly. I am sure Nick or Pete will chime in with the correct answer.
My question to you is are you already running the engine on your Lightning? Or is this a Kit Fox question?

Just playing arround with the fox to twick the egt's alittle closer. I have them all within 75 degrees, but as long as I have the cowl off for my anual I thought I would play a little.
I have put up my tent and have everthing ready to paint on the lightning as soon as it gets over 50 degrees. Thanks for the reply. TEX
