I had a nose gear fold with a 4-1200 and NSI setup on a grass runway yesterday, The builder was having trouble with the tailwheel landings so he did the conversion. The I bold failed. I think it is a 1/4 or 5/16. Anyway, has anyone else done a nose dragger conversion on a NSI package? With the Main gear moved back, it seemed very nose heavy. We got lucky as there was no other damage, the prop went into the grass/dirt a few inches, but the only thing broke was the bolt.
Thanks for any info.

Deke! I am doing fine. I have been in The hot deserts of the middle east for the last 2 years.
I'm home now and starting to get the bug to build another kitfox...I guess I'm not ready to give up yet. My model 5 was destroyed in the hanger in December 2006 when a pre-heater on a 152 failed and caught fire. The whole hanger went up along with my motorcycle and my friends' KR-2. I'm really getting the itch for another! I'll be in the market for a -5, -6, or-7 taildragger!! I live near Minneapolis now...There are a lot of names on this list I never heard before, so I'm glad the see there is still activity! I'm glad to see that the company is doing better, Does McBean own it now?
Good to be back!

Even with the inflation of today, the price of $0.00 that you charged
me has only risen to $0.00....let me know, Howard if you can afford
this outrageous price. : )
