Guys, can one of you kit builders please check a
physical measurment for me. I am re-starting into my
flapperons after taking a couple of month off to work
on my wings. I am not finding an absolute spar rivet
line location from the bottom trailing edge. Can
somebody please measure from the bottom trailing edge
to the factory rivet line on a kit skin? I am scratch
building so I have not got a pre drilled line to base
all of my other measurements on.
On page 7-A-2 it gives a summary of the rivet spacing
and when I add this up I get 174mm. I have a
flapperon made that has this distance and it doesn't
seem correct. It appears the spar is too close to the
nose bend.
Any ideas?

Doug, I measured a skin and 174 mm is the distance from the TE to the prepunched rivet line.
